Giving Youth a voice in our programming and community as a whole.

Last Wednesday of every month

Who: Youth 12-18 yrs: All Welcome!

Where: Dorie’s House (Basement Entrance).

Drop-in: No Registration Required!

Supper provided.

Based on Youth Committee recommendations. Using evidence based information ie. Choice Theory, Solution Focus, Trauma Informed, Art Therapy to focus on: the Social Determinants of Health, Income and social status, Employment and working conditions, Education and literacy, Childhood experiences ,Physical environments, Social supports, Coping skills, Healthy behaviours, Access to health services, Biology and genetic endowment, Gender, Culture, Race/Racism, etc.

Every Monday (Except Holidays), 6:30-9:30pm

Activities during YES Programming: 2023-2024

These educational workshops are developed to meet the needs of Youth with risk-taking behaviours that may lead to entry into, or contribute to recidivism, within the Criminal Justice System. With Glasser’s Choice Theory as a foundation, we focus on building resiliency and accountability with our participants.
